I Got the Rilakkuma 7th Anniversary Fan Mook! (Scans too!), J-List Review

Not scans so much as pictures that I took with my camera (no scanner here).  But at least you will have  a good idea of what’s in the mook!
I got the mook from J-List…Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like anymore are available at this time.  I’m sorry everyone, for being so slow!  It wouldn’t hurt to ask if they’ll get more in if you’re desperate.  You can still find plenty of cute Rilakkuma products there though, including several that are pictured in the magazine.

Now, before we move on to the pictures, I’d like to quickly review J-List.  In case you are new to the site, J-List sells all sorts of Japan related products.  Toys, manga, food, magazines, etc.  The company is run by a 14 member team; some of those members are assigned to deal with specific categories, for example, it will always be the same person handling your manga order.  You can read more about them here.
Upon entering the site through the main URL, you’ll notice that the site is divided into two sections, the site that contains 18+ items (JList) and the G-rated site (J-Box).  That way you can avoid seeing the “naughty” products if you don’t want to, or are in an area where you can’t…

Anyway, on to my personal order.  The ordering process was smooth, an it arrived as scheduled (two weeks for the cheapest shipping option), in a sturdy envelope.  I was very pleased with my order!  So, there is a very good chance I might use J-List again in the future.

At first I sort of waffled between getting it and not (as I do with most of my purchases, haha), but decided to as it was something special that I knew I would like.  I know you can just save pictures from online, but it’s nice to have a book full of  cute to look at at any time.

Okay, I know: TL’DR.  Here are the pictures! Click the pics to see them larger.  Rules are this:  Save them if you want.  Link to them if you want, but let me know.  If you want to use one of the actual pictures, please ask first (I don’t mean to be anal, but I kind of want to know where these pictures are going).  I’ll most likely say it’s fine, as long as you credit me. Rilakkuma is property of San-X.

I had close-up pictures of the things I thought were really amusing, but it looks like I deleted them by accident (blergh).  I really like the rainbow suit Rilakkuma!  The comics look pretty funny too; I wish I could read them better.  The region specific Rilakkuma page is interesting.

The mook came with a small bag and a Rilakkuma keychain:

The bag is the perfect size for carrying basic things around, and durable. It’s so cute too-I’m really happy with it! The keychain is nice and soft.

I hope you enjoyed this post!  I worked quite a bit on it, haha.  Let me know what you think!
